Vijayashree Hospitals at Gottigere, Bannerghatta Main Road, were established in September 2011. The hospital has 50 beds and is a multispecialty and super-specialty medical facility. Surgical, maternity, and paediatric services are its highlights. Other departments include radiology and orthopaedics, which provide trauma care. A dedicated physiotherapy unit for rehabilitation is outstanding.
It also has a dental department, an endoscopy unit, a dialysis unit, a pharmacy open 24 hours a day, laboratory services, and an ICU-equipped ambulance. All medical insurance are empaneled with our Hospital. Likewise, various industries, schools, colleges, construction companies, and old-age homes are tying up with our hospital.
Renowned consultants, as well as well-experienced residents and duty doctors, are available to patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Hospitals perform about 500 to 600 surgeries a year in their operating rooms. Various surgical, orthopaedic, obstetrics and gynaecological, urological, dental, vascular, and cosmetic/plastic surgeries are performed.
Every year, approximately 70-80 normal deliveries are performed in labor and delivery units. Overall ICU bed occupancy is about 80% per year. These include medical, chemotherapeutic, trauma, and post-surgical patients. 10 special wards and about 30 general ward beds are available for inpatient admission. This hospital was established by Dr. Vijay B Nagaraj, a surgical gastroenterologist who is very focused on timely and quality patient care.

ABOUT FOUNDER
At the outset, It gives me immense pleasure to introduce myself, Dr.Vijay. B. Nagaraj , Surgical Gastroenterologist & Founder of Vijayashree Hospitals, Bangalore. My qualifications are MBBS, MS, DMAS, and FMAS. I belong to 1996 MBBS batch, Completed my graduation & post graduation at KIMS, Bangalore. Later my super speciality in “Surgical Gastroenterology and Minimal Access Surgery / laparoscopy” from Laparoscopy Hospital and Sri Maharaja Agrasena Hospital, New Delhi. I have worked in various medical college Hospitals like KIMS, Bangalore; SDUMC, Kolar; Dr. BRAMC, Bangalore; SIMS, Bangalore. At present I am visiting Postgraduate Associate Professor at Sridevi Medical College Hospital, Tumkur, Karnataka.
I am the founder of Vijayasahree Hospitals, Bangalore, established in 2011. It’s a 50 bedded multispecialty hospital providing various medical and surgical services. It has been treating patients successfully over the past ten years. Well qualified doctors/Consultants from various branches are part of the hospital. They are my dear colleagues’. My vision is to provide comprehensive & quality health care for the sick through “Team Work” at affordable cost.
